Rolling Stones

I do not know how I have had this blog for several months now and have yet to make a post about my favorite band of all time...THE ROLLING STONES... Who hasn't heard of Keith Richards or Mick Jagger...if you havn't you have some howework and listening to do.
The Stones have been touring since 1963 and their music is incredibly well known and popular amoung all different ages. Being that most of us have listened to the group, I am going to list a bunch of songs of theres that others may know if the heard it or if they havn't, would truley enjoy if they heard it:








Heres some random facts about the Stones that even some of the most loyal fans may not be aware of:
  1. "Let's Spend The Night Together" is ranked number 464 on rock.com's top 500 classic rock songs.

  2. Mother's Little Helper is ranked number 399 on rock.com's top 500 classic rock songs.

  3. Wild Horses is ranked number 365 on rock.com's top 500 classic rock songs.

  4. Jumpin Jack Flash" is ranked number 16 on rock.com's top 500 classic rock songs.
  5. "Brown Sugar" is ranked number 14 on rock.com's top 500 classic rock songs.

  6. "Satisfaction" is ranked number 2 on rock.com's top 500 classic rock songs.

  7. The Stones got their name from a song they borrowed from Muddy Waters.
  8. When the Rolling Stones appeared on the Ed Sullivan they were not allowed to sing their song Lets Spend the Night Together as it was Sullivan made them change the lyrics.

  9. In the 1990 movie hit Goodfellas, the Stones song Gimme Shelter was in the movie and on they were on posters that advertised the movie.

  10. Paint it Black was the song the Rolling Stones were performers on in the movie Twisted Metal: Black in 2001. Vquzeshuf.

I have to agree with your praise of The Rolling Stones.. I'm pretty sure they are ranked as the 2nd best band of all time, right behind The Beatles.. both are unmatched in the music world in my opinion..
